The scheme will create seven new green spaces all beautifully landscaped to create the look and feel that the Cardiff Peninsula buildings are sitting in a landscaped park, albeit within an urban setting.

Innovation Square – a large open civic space with some soft and hard landscaping predominantly for the office users of the Innovation Centre.

Peninsula Green – a large open green area with soft landscaping, a place to relax and take the sun on summer days.

Village Green – the main recreational space with well-designed play space for children.

Market Square – an informal tree line square and flexible event space that can be used for hosting seasonal markets, the annual Christmas tree, visiting farmers markets etc.

Winter Garden – this is a year round indoor glazed atrium affording panoramic and dramatic views across the Bay. It is a purposefully protected green space for inclement weather.

Promenade – the main waterside pedestrian and cycle route along both the Bay-side and River Ely’s water’s edge, linking into the established Cardiff Bay Trail.

Podium Gardens – As well as the public space there will be private spaces on the podium terraces which will include dedicated external gardens and roof terraces providing private outdoor space for Cardiff Peninsula residents, taking great advantage of the panoramic views afforded over the Bay and to Penarth.
